Empowering learners for a brighter future
At Everyone Academy, we firmly believe in the potential of every student to succeed. Our commitment lies in crafting innovative STEM programs and fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment. We aim to empower students to unlock their full potential and realize their aspirations.
Currently, we provide three courses: Introductory Algebra, Introductory Geometry and Proof, and Pre-Calculus and Beyond, the latter incorporating material that leads up to AP Calculus BC. These courses are built upon our exclusive books and syllabi, meticulously developed by Dr. Zhu over the past twenty years. Our seasoned instructors are dedicated to assisting students in mastering elementary math more efficiently and fundamentally, thereby ensuring success in both pre-college and college-level mathematics. We emphasize teaching students the "how" while also encouraging them to comprehend the "why."
1. We do not engage in math competitions; our primary focus is on establishing a robust mathematical groundwork for pre-college and subsequent college-level education. We encourage students who complete our courses to pursue further studies in advanced STEM fields. To ensure optimal learning experiences, all classes will have a maximum size limit of 15 students.
2. We strongly encourage attending in-person classes whenever possible, as they provide richer teaching and learning interactions. However, we also recognize the benefits of online lectures, particularly for those unable to travel to Boston or those who may occasionally be absent. To support such students, we provide recorded lecture videos. Currently, all our algebra and geometry classes are available both in-person and online. We plan to offer online classes for all three courses in the future as local support grows.
3. Our Algebra class encompasses both school Algebra 1 and a segment of school Algebra 2; you can review our syllabus here. Recognizing that Algebra forms the cornerstone of all mathematical and scientific disciplines, we anticipate challenges and offer students the opportunity to retake Algebra classes at no additional cost.
4. In our geometry class, we will cultivate our students' ability to learn and articulate rigorous proofs. Additionally, we emphasize the teaching of vectors and matrices within the geometry curriculum. You can see our geometry syllabus here.
5. Our pre-calculus class encompasses both high school pre-calculus and a significant portion of calculus content. Upon completion, students are prepared to take the AP Calculus BC exam and achieve satisfactory scores. You can read our pre-calculus syllabus here.
6. We encourage 5th to 6th-grade students to enroll in our Algebra class. For other students, we offer an free assessment program.
7. Our classes will be held at 20 Alphabet Lane, Weston, MA 02493.
8. Our joint classes with LYCAL will be held at 240 Bedford street, Lexington, MA 02420.
Dr. Zhu is a tenured full professor at the Department of Mathematics in the University of Oklahoma. His research interests are nonlinear partial differential equations, geometric analysis, and image analysis. Dr. Zhu obtained his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Peking University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and Rutgers University, respectively, all in Mathematics.
Since his eldest child enrolled in elementary school in 2003, Dr. Zhu has been actively involved in their education and development. Drawing from his own educational background in China, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of science education both in China and the US. It is his belief that students should and can start learning Algebra as early as 7th grade, or even earlier. Elementary math studies can typically be completed within four years, with middle and high school education serving as a bridge between foundational knowledge and the application of advanced mathematics.
Upon his youngest child's departure for college, Dr. Zhu embarked on his educational mission in May 2019.

Dr. Jing Jiang received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 1992. She received her PhD degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech in 2004. After that, she taught both undergraduate and graduate courses as an assistant professor at the North Carolina A&T State University. Since 2006, Dr. Jiang had been working for Texas Instruments for 12 years. Dr. Jiang holds more than 20 patents in the area of wireless system design and implementations and in LTE cellular system standards.
